In the wake of the U.S. Independence Day Party, we want to invite you to hear the personal stories of Americans who are lucky enough to be in Kyiv right now. During the next speaking club, you will be able to find out anything you have ever wanted to know about Taxes, to ask a native New Yorker if they really live like friends from your favorite TV series, as well as ask what beach is the best in Florida.

We’ll take a look at a few stories published last summer in the New Yorker, discuss your responses to them, and try to discern what, if anything, they might teach us about ourselves and this big blue marble we live on.
