Using the Activate games in the language classroom gives our students diverse speaking opportunities on a variety of topics in an inclusive format.

In this session we will practice a series of different vocab strategies that can aid our students in their efforts to expand their word pool—and we too will know a new set of words by the end!

In this four-part workshop we will explore some of the methodologies, strategies, and activities used by teachers at the City University of New York (CUNY) in the intensive CUNY Language Immersion Program (CLIP).

This session will bring out the writers inside of us, and, crucially, bring them out of our students as well. Pre-writing techniques, essay structure, drafting, and peer editing are the focal points.
