Education in Emergencies: Compassion for Self and Others
If students are able to understand others’ emotions and behaviors in context, they will be able to empathize with others better. This in turn can lead to feeling more connected with others, and thus less isolated and lonely. Moreover, the ability to understand others better and cultivate a caring attitude towards others parallels the same process of understanding and caring for themselves better. Join us this week to learn all about it!

Education in Emergencies: Learning About and From one Another
"Education in Emergencies" is a virtual program to provide Ukrainian educators with the necessary skills and tools for virtual and in-person teaching during wartime and crisis situations. Education in Emergencies: Navigating Emotions
Understanding emotions can be very empowering for us. We experience emotions all the time, yet often may not understand what is happening inside ourselves. Learning about emotions can make these experiences less unfamiliar and eventually easier to manage. Join us on Monday to learn about how we can become more knowledgable about our emotions and in turn be more aware of them as well as our students' emotions in the classroom.

Do you find it difficult to focus your attention when there are so many things going around you? Attention training has numerous benefits for us and our students. Join us this week to learn how attention is not cultivated through force of will, but by repeatedly and gently cultivating opportunities for practice, just like any other skill.
