For this spooky season, America House Kyiv and ELR Charlie St. Pierre are proud to bring back American Identity with a Halloween twist. At 18:00 on Thursday, October 17th we will dive into the fascinating intersection of American culture, history, and superstition, and explore how the supernatural has shaped the American psyche. In part 1 of our three-part series, we will discuss America’s most haunted cities and how history continues to live with us through ghosts and local legends, and how those ghosts and legends are often directly related to that place’s history.
The American Identity series is dedicated to enhancing understanding of American history and identity, spanning from pre-colonial times to the contemporary era. Using American passport images as a catalyst for discussions, the series is crafted to unveil nuanced perspectives within American history and culture.
Attendance and participation are free. You just need to let us know if you’re coming by registering for the event in advance. We’ll save you a spot and keep you posted about any changes.
