The power of a visual and the strength of a word: how do communications today bring change?

Join us on Aug 31 for a discussion on how visual communications can take on a bold, brave role in times of crisis. Our panelists will share practical experience and insights on how to present compelling messaging in visual communications and enact change through creative work.

The team behind Telegraf magazine will share their experience sharing Ukrainian creativity and perspectives in print and online formats while tailoring communication to different audiences.

The discussion will be live-streamed to America House Kyiv Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn pages. We will also stream to Projector Publishing & Store LinkedIn page.

Anna Karnauh

Editor-in-Chief @Telegraf.Magazine, Head of Projector Publishing

Anna is an author and the editor. Since June, she has been the Head of Projector Publishing, a publishing project of the online Creative & Tech Institute Projector.

Projector Publishing has already issued three printed issues of the Telegraf.Magazine, which is dedicated to Ukrainian visual culture.

During the initial months of the full-scale war Anna made the decision to remain in her hometown Kyiv to be present and active. During this time, Anna and the team of authors and designers created an artbook titled "Telegraf.Creativity of the Brave'', which included war illustrations and personal stories from those impacted by the war. The artbook proved to be a bestseller and even found its way into the White House, President Zelenskyi's personal library, and the shortlist of the D&AD design competition. With the success of this project, Projector Publishing arose and now aims to showcase Ukrainian culture and creativity on both local and global scale.

Oleksandra Korchevska-Tsekhos

Graphic and digital designer, art-director, lecturer and influencer from Rivne, Ukraine.

She has 12 years of experience in design and has 9 awards. Those are awards of Ukrainian Creative Design Week, ADC*UA and TDC Certificate of Typographic Excellence. Oleksandra actively cooperates with global companies and organizations. She works with strategies for growing the local design communities and innovations for the future of creatives in Eastern Europe. She works with huge organizations like UNICEF, USAID, UNDP and others.

She works as lecturer in educational projects Projector Creative & Tech Online Institute, Media and Communication & Journalism School of Ukrainian Catholic University.
