At 19:00 on August 30th join a lecture and discussion part of AHK’s American Arts series. This week we’ll be exploring the art and biography of American artist Louise Nevelson. During the session led by America House Kyiv’s Lucy, you’ll learn about American sculpture and found object art in the 20th century, Nevelson’s public and design works like the Chapel of the Good Shepard, and join a discussion about how Nevelson’s Jewish heritage and family background from the Kyiv oblast influenced her style and artistic approach.
Practice your English-speaking skills, learn about American culture and lifestyle, and share your own perspectives during our Wednesday English speaking clubs, lectures and chats with Americans and the America House Kyiv team. Stay tuned for schedule updates.
