Short Story Club

Short Story Club is the perfect place for you to learn more about American culture through its literature, keep your reading list updated, and improve your English at the same time. Talk about multitasking, right?

In each session we will discuss a different short story as well as its meaning and the language used in the text.

On September 7th we will discuss "The Real Heroes are Dead: A Love Story" by James B. Stewart.

Read James Stewart’s moving account of the life of Rick Rescorla. An immigrant, war veteran, and Chief Security Officer of Morgan Stanley in the World Trade Center, Rescorla helped evacuate 2,500 people while the towers crumbled on September 11, 2001.

You are welcome to read the story here.
