Short Story Club

Short Story Club will feature a variety of short stories, coupled with a discussion about the meaning and language used in the text.

For this session we will discuss "Cathedral" by Raymond Carver.

On the surface, "Cathedral" is a story about a dissatisfied man whose encounter with his wife's blind friend teaches him new ways of seeing. Beneath the surface it's a story about three people who need each other badly, and manage to connect. You are welcome to read the story here: https://bit.ly/32S4DnJ

This Short Story Club session will be on Friday July 31st at 5:00 PM.

The deadline to register is July 31st by 12:00 PM. Before the session you'll receive an email with the link to the online meeting.
