Speech Writing Workshop

Do you dream of being the world’s next great orator, speech writer or just want to become a better public speaker? This week, Ray Castillo, the U.S. Embassy’s Press Attache, will lead you through a speech writing session based two of the greatest American speeches: Lincoln’s “Gettysburg Address” and Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I have a Dream.” You’ll develop your writing skills, learn some history, and see how these speeches connect to American society today.

Be in the know! Before attending this session, check out Martin Luther King, Jr.’s speech (video and text) and the Gettysburg Address (bonus material here).

Register for free. The deadline to register is April 27th by 12:00 PM. Before the webinar you'll receive an email with the link to the online meeting.
