On their website, Bon Appétit has also created two themed sections of online content: Healthyish (which is dedicated to articles, recipes, trends, and news on healthy eating) and Basically (which is dedicated to simple recipes, basic cooking tips, and how-to articles for those who don’t yet know how to cook).

2. Cook’s Illustrated: Advertisement-free, Cook’s Illustrated is known for its extensive recipe-testing and instructions. The magazine is based on the founder Christopher Kimball’s philosophy that “there is a single best way to make a dish” – as a result, each issue publishes only ten recipes that have been thoroughly tested and are explained to readers in great detail. This publication, published every two months, further includes evaluations of cooking tools and food brands.
