About the exhibition
The United States, its allies, and partners worldwide are united in support of Ukraine in response to Russia’s premeditated, unprovoked, and unjustified war against Ukraine.
The United States reaffirms its unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders, extending to its territorial waters.
Ukraine is a key regional strategic partner that has undertaken significant efforts to modernize its military and increase its interoperability with NATO. It remains an urgent security assistance priority to provide Ukraine with the equipment it needs to defend itself against Russia’s war against Ukraine.
To date, the United States has approved $136 billion in assistance to Ukraine, where more than $64.1 billion was allocated to military assistance since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and approximately $66.9 billion in military assistance since Russia’s initial invasion of Ukraine in 2014.
The United States is supporting Ukraine’s economy with direct budget support as well as assistance to protect critical infrastructure, support exports, expand digitalization efforts to make government more efficient and transparent, support farmers and food exporters to continue supplying grain to people all over the world, and helps to advance critical anti-corruption and European integration reforms. The United States is providing humanitarian assistance to support frontline communities and the millions of Ukrainians who remain displaced from their homes due to Russia’s horrific war.
The United States is committed to providing long-term security and economic support for Ukraine’s continued fight against Russian aggression and for its recovery and reform efforts towards the EU and NATO integration. American support is a strategic and enduring commitment to protect the principles of freedom and democracy in Ukraine and the world. This exhibition is a manifestation and representation of the unwavering support of the United States and the friendship between the United States and Ukraine.
