More about Aaron:

Aaron Banks is the PEPFAR Coordinator for Ukraine, responsible for providing strategic guidance for the United States’ $60 million annual partnership with Ukraine to help end the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Aaron has served in seven posts during his 12 years as a career U.S. Foreign Service Officer. Or maybe it’s 12 posts in seven years. It’s hard to keep track. Past assignments include Singapore, London, Sana’a, Yemen, the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in New York, the State Department Operations Center, and the Kuwait Desk. Prior to his government service, Aaron was the U.S. Senior Campaign Manager for the NGO ONE, co-founded by Bono to fight global poverty and disease. Aaron was born in Massachusetts, grew up in New York, and received a bachelor’s degree cum laude in art history from Tufts University. He is a long-suffering supporter of the Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and an even longer suffering fan of the New York Mets baseball team.

More about Jeff:

Jeffrey Hanley is the deputy Management Officer for US Embassy Kyiv, responsible for overseeing a workforce of over 600 employees, an annual operating budget of $68 million, and coordinating the functions of human resources, finance, IT, facilities, medical care, customs and shipping, leasing, contracting, inventory, and other general services. Prior to Ukraine, Jeff served in Tijuana Mexico, Calgary Canada, Curacao, Haiti, and Niger. Before the Foreign Service, Jeff was in commercial banking, but quickly found he detested sitting in an office all day. Jeff was born in Philadelphia, the birthplace of American independence, and grew up between Washington DC and New York City. He holds a bachelors degree in political science from American University and a MBA from Penn State University. Jeff is an avid lover of the outdoors and enjoys taking his three dogs to various national parks. From the shores of the Florida Everglades to the Alaskan snowcapped mountains of Denali, Jeff and his dogs have visited all 50 US states.
