Are you already planning your Thanksgiving celebration this year? We at America House Kyiv surely are! Thanksgiving Day is filled with delightful traditions like eating turkey and watching football with your family, but how much do you know about the history of America’s most unique holiday? We invite you to join our special Wednesday English session that will grow your knowledge and understanding of this important day.
During this in-person event, you will get the chance to learn about the history and unique regional traditions of Thanksgiving, and participate in a Thanksgiving themed trivia game hosted by our new English Language Resident Charlie St. Pierre. Charlie will share his own Thanksgiving experiences growing up in Massachusetts and how he is celebrating now that he’s outside of the country. We’ll be talking history, food, football, and family. Register and make sure you are ready to have fun.
The event will take place at America House Kyiv (Mykoly Pymonenka Street 6.) Please familiarize yourself with the rules of admission before your visit. Remember to bring your passport or driver’s license to enter America House Kyiv. Spots are limited, so follow the news on our America House Kyiv website, Facebook and Instagram to get the latest updates. See you soon!
