Please join us for a presentation entitled: To Share or Not to Share: Your Role in the Information Ecosystem with Mirela Petkova, a journalist from the Media Literacy Coalition in Bulgaria. During the presentation we will discuss the social media sources where we get our information, its effect on how we see the world, and techniques to spot truth from fiction.

Mirela Petkova is a freelance journalist, fact-checker, and researcher. Mirela is a journalist at Factcheck.bg, the only platform in Bulgaria dedicated solely to fact-checking, and a program coordinator for Media Literacy Coalition. Mirela is interested in all things related to debunking disinformation and promoting media literacy, the Balkans, Eastern Europe, and China.
