Conversation Club: World Humanitarian Day

It takes a village to support people in crises. August 19th was World Humanitarian Day. We celebrate people who not only work for humanitarian causes but also honor and pay our respect to the ones who have risked and lost their lives in pursuit of a more equitable and peaceful world. Join us this week to learn more about the history, exceptional humanitarians, and causes that are important to you and your community. We look forward to seeing you there!

📍 The deadline to register is August 30th by 12:00 PM.

America House English Language Resident Meagan is leading a Conversation Club to support Ukrainians displaced in new regions or in familiar surroundings but with new realities. The sessions will help you adapt to your environment, improve confidence in communication and expand your English-language vocabulary in areas relevant to current experiences and challenges. During the meetings, we will cover crucial topics, practice grammar, and build listening and speaking skills in an open and safe online environment.
