Global News. Rebellion Against Repression in Iran

For the past two weeks, protests have broken out in Iran and all over the world following the death of a 22-year-old Iranian woman, Mahsa Amini. These protests are different, in addition to holding signs and chanting, women are also cutting their hair and burning their scarves in reaction to this young woman's death. Join us on Tuesday to answer the big questions. Who is the Morality Police? What do they do? What do Iranians think of them and what could happen to them in the future?

It seems like there is an increasing amount of events happening in the news as well as people and media sources posting about it. How can we possibly stay up to date? Join us on Tuesdays for our Global News Club. Here we will discuss and think critically about recent happenings in the world without telling you how to feel or what to think about it. This is a safe community where we will listen to each other and talk about our own experiences and opinions in a non-judgmental format. See you then!
