On August 24, Ukrainians will celebrate 30 years of Independence, whilst just a bit earlier, on July 4, Americans celebrated 245 years of their Independence. So, we decided to dive deeper into this topic and give you space for open dialogues with questions such as “What is Freedom to me?” and “What does freedom look like in Ukraine and the U.S.?”
If you are 18-35 and searching for a meaningful networking experience for the last two weeks of your summer, register and join our virtual Camp Liberty program. During these two weeks you will meet with peers from the United States and Ukraine and build new personal connections.
Besides group discussion, you will be matched with a counterpart representing their country and scheduled for one-on-one sessions in a “zoom pal” for a day format. Together, you’ll uncover new points of view and share your own, challenge your assumptions and search for fresh perspectives.
To participate in the program, please register by submitting the form below by August 9th. No preparation is required, discussion topics will be provided. Participation in the program is free of charge. The working language of the program will be English.
The camp will be made up of several events:
August 18 | Camp opening: “What is Freedom?”. Open discussion with the guest speaker.
August 18 – August 30 | Virtual one-on-one sessions for U.S. — Ukraine pairs (one day, times vary).
August 30 | Open-Mic bonfire night.
