Is there a feeling better than the freedom of the open road? Due to quarantine borders are closed … but not for us! In our next American Studies Club session, we’re going on an incredible cross-country road trip across the U.S. to see America’s landscapes and sights through colorful images and hear the awesome stories behind them. Come along with us!
During this virtual event, together with our speaker William Dickson, you will travel to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston and roam the old castles of Connecticut’s Gillette Castle State Park. You’ll explore the federal architecture of Washington D.C. and “drive” to Georgia and Mississippi, discovering the diversity of the Southern States from the gleaming skyscrapers of Atlanta to the stunning swamps of Biloxi. For the finale, we’ll head out to the West Coast, where you can enjoy sunny California and its roadside attractions.
Join our exciting journey across the USA on May 24 at 6:30 pm and feel free to ask any questions you have. We’ll be streaming this session to our Facebook page.
The presentation will be led by US citizen William Dickson. Learn more information about the speaker:
