Whether you’re looking to develop your confidence, find a new hobby, or start debating competitively, our Debate Boot Camp is for you! From building communication skills to fostering critical thinking, debate teaches participants the skills they need to be successful in life.
A Boot Camp is a series of trainings that will help you to gain fundamental skills of debating. If you want to learn as much as possible and feel confident during the actual debating sessions, we highly encourage you to attend all the trainings. Our Debate Boot Camp emphasizes learning through experience, and will focus on practicing the material during the sessions to help you overcome your fear of public speaking and perfect your powers of persuasion.
Semir Dzebo will co-facilitate this event.
Semir is a PhD candidate in International Relations at Central European University in Vienna. Having debated competitively throughout his academic career, Semir has experience with both Karl Popper and British Parliamentary debate formats. He also enjoys sharing his passion for debate with others, which has led him to teach and even judge competitive debate around the world.
