Short Story Club is the perfect place for you to learn more about American culture through its literature, keep your reading list updated, and improve your English at the same time. Talk about multitasking, right?
In each session we will discuss a different short story as well as its meaning and the language used in the text.
On October 5th we will discuss "The Veldt" by Ray Bradbury.
Ray Bradbury is best known for writing science fiction, specifically his classic novel Fahrenheit 451 and short stories which inspired multiple generations of writers and scientists. Additionally, Bradbury wrote memoirs, realistic fiction, plays, and screenplays. In this popular story, Bradbury explores the dark side of modern technology.
