TED English

How many of your friends have suggested that "new TED talk" that just changed their life? Do you have a list of videos in your bookmarks that you’ve just been MEANING TO WATCH, but just can’t get around to? Do you watch these videos, but you don’t get everything out of them that you think you should? If you answered were yes to any of these, then we can understand!

TED English is online dialogues around TED talks! Each 45-minute session will feature a cool and informative TED Talk, coupled with Q & A and discussion about the meaning and language used in the talk. By joining this program you’ll get the opportunity to talk about vocabulary and grammar from the TED talk, react to the topic discussed in the talk, and interact with a huge community of people online through a discussion facilitated by America House’s very own English language Resident!

For this session we will discuss TED English: Featuring TED Talk by Margaret Heffernan: Forget the pecking order at work.

This TED English session will be on Monday June 22nd at 5:00 PM. The deadline to register is June 22nd by 12:00 PM. Before the session you'll receive an email with the link to the online meeting.
