American Lit Club: J.D. Salinger

Guys, we are excited about this one. ‘A Perfect Day for Bananafish’ (1948), by J.D. Salinger is our story for this week. Written when he was just twenty-eight years old, this story launched Salinger into the upper echelon of literary New York, a coveted perch from which he would enigmatically step away shortly thereafter.

You can read the story here.
