Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Crockett Oaks III is currently serving as the Deputy Chief of the Office of Defense Cooperation in Kyiv, Ukraine. LTC Oaks has served in the United States Army Reserve for approximately 28 years in various positions, with increasing supervisory responsibilities. In addition to his military career, LTC Oaks has served as the head of security for a major petrochemical company, a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, a Police Officer in the U.S. and a former collegiate athlete. He earned a master’s degree in criminal justice administration and a master’s degree in business administration. LTC Oaks has served as a facilitator of international conferences and guest lecturer at universities; he is a certified military instructor.
