This Photobook presentation by Natalya Repetatska is dedicated to New York City. This depiction of New York from an unusual point of view, this analysis of the "vertical city" through a camera lens, is a journey through that intertwines soft and cruel, natural and artificial, dreams and despair. Masterfully created photographs reveal the complexity and beauty of the giant city.
At the event will be a discussionabout the vanished New York of the 70-80’s and the artists and events that defined its unique history. We’ll also draw parallels between New York of the past and present.
