Roman Rubchenko, a Ukrainian native came back to Ukraine in 2008 after more than 17 years in the USA, during which, he studied, played professional sports and worked for top strategy consulting companies. He has a BS in International Trade & Finance from Louisiana State University in 1996, MBA in corporate strategy from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business in 2006 and Master of Public Administration from Harvard University Kennedy School of Government in 2014.
Mr. Rubchenko is an experienced professional in strategy & operational consulting, organizational design, policy development and team management. While at the Foundation for Effective Governance, he advised top Ukrainian government officials on economic reforms with focus on energy sector and reform implementation, while at BCG he worked on organizational design, restructuring, post-merger integration and performance measurement. Prior to corporate business career, Roman played professional basketball in Turkey, Uruguay, Israel, Spain, France, Poland, Belgium, Portugal and for the national team of Ukraine.
