Presenter: Danielle Capretti
Webinar Description:
This webinar focuses on how to use theater in the classroom - from developing short, theater-based activities to putting on a student show. Danielle will answer key questions, such as:
- How do I choose a dramatic text for my students?
- What language activities could I do with that text?
- How do I cast and direct a student show?
By the end of the workshop, you will have an enhanced understanding of using both small- and large-scale theater projects in your classroom. Ultimately, the process requires an interdisciplinary approach--combining language work, theater performance and culture studies.
