Documentary Filmmaking Master Class with Acclaimed American Filmmaker Holly Morris

Director Holly Morris talks about the unique production realities in making her acclaimed film, "The Babushkas of Chernobyl."

Students will first screen a short version of the film. Then, Ms. Morris will lay out the processes of pre-production & production; how subjects were selected/emerged; how the story arc is developed; character development, craft, & post production. The class will include discussion of editing, cinematography, sound and b-roll, and how these components work together to develop stories and character. The class will end with a Questions & Discussion.
