Dr. Leslie Opp-Beckman from University of Oregon will offer a broad overview of some practical ways you can improve and practice your English online, using freely available resources.
Dr. Leslie Opp-Beckman is on faculty at the University of Oregon, College of Arts and Sciences, American English Institute in Eugene, Oregon (USA). She is the Director of Innovative Programming for face-to-face, online, and hybrid (blended) courses for English language learners and educators. She has published, lectured and conducted professional training workshops in the area of Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) for English extensively across the United States and internationally in more than 40 countries, including Ukraine. Some of her key projects include the video-based teacher training materials “Shaping the Way We TReeach English,” contributions to the text “Online Language Teacher Education,” and program development and administration for projects such as the “E-Teacher Scholarship Program” and the "Access Teacher Development Online Program."
