Mary Mycio, lawyer, journalist, international development consultant, and author of "Wormwood Forest: A Natural History of Chernobyl," will conduct a master journalism class titled, "Being there: The importance of going to the story." The class will include a presentation about Mary's journalistic travels, and why being there adds to reporting in an age of remote journalism. There will be a practical exercise and information about resources to apply for journalism travel grants in Ukraine. This event will take place in Ukrainian.
