English Writing Course: Written English Course for Journalists

U.S. journalist Nolan Peterson will lead the third installment in a series of written English language classes geared toward Ukrainian journalists and media professionals.

The third course will focus on style and grammar tips to make your writing more professional and allow you to better reach the English speaking audience.

The class will include tips on: Broadcast journalism writing, growing a social media audience, how to craft a story pitch, sourcing, and style, tone, and cadence.

Peterson is a former U.S. Air Force pilot and a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where he received a master’s degree. He will apply lessons and tips from top U.S. journalism schools to help Ukrainian journalists acquire the tools and skills to write powerful stories that will resonate with the global audience.

This course will be open to all and will require no prior registration.
