Hear perspectives and experiences from Ukraine’s “creative front” in dialogue with American peers and experts from the creative industries in a new virtual discussion series.
America House Kyiv is launching Creative Resilience in a Time of War — a series streamed online discussions between Ukrainian and American creatives in design, advertising & culture on the purpose and challenge of creative work in the context of global challenges and the war in Ukraine.

During the discussion our panelists shared their practical experience and insights on implementing creative campaigns in times of crisis, and uncover how fashion, design and ingenuity intersect and function on local and global levels today and tomorrow.
Anna and Nadiia Pagava of GOGŌLA Agency shared their experience of working between Ukraine and the U.S. through the full-scale invasion to bring Ukrainian brands recognition on a global scale. Kristina Skripka, co-founder of i am u are, explored their collaboration with GOGŌLA Agency on the project, which brought Ukrainian design to New York in spring of 2023 through a multidisciplinary makers fair. US panelists Nicole McDonagh and Mike Hughes—award-winning Creative Directors from the U.S.— shared their perspectives on the role of creativity and art during times of social and economic uncertainty.
