American Identity With Charlie: America's Breadbasket

  • America House Kyiv 6 Mykoly Pymonenka Street Kyiv, 02000 Ukraine (map)

In between the Atlantic and Pacific coasts lies America's "heartland", the Midwest. Who are the people who settled there and whose agriculture and industry drove America's rapid development? How do we define this region culturally? At 19:00 on April 25th we will be exploring America's breadbasket and all things related.

The American Identity series is dedicated to enhancing understanding of American history and identity, spanning from pre-colonial times to the contemporary era. Using American passport images as a catalyst for discussions, the series is crafted to unveil nuanced perspectives within American history and culture.

Attendance and participation are free. You just need to let us know if you’re coming by registering for the event in advance. We’ll save you a spot and keep you posted about any changes.
