Join America House Community kitchen: Bake & Share initiative aimed at making goodies to be donated to those in need.
Together with America House Team you'll be baking and packing cookies, drinking hot chocolate and socializing. This is a great chance to connect with the community and do something meaningful that will bring joy, support, and care.
We'll start baking goodies on December 19th starting from 1 pm and are planning to finish by 5 pm or even earlier, depending on how many volunteers join our cause.
We'll be excited if you join us and help with the entire process of baking and packing.
To join you'll need:
- come to America House (make sure you have your passport or driver's license)
- bring disposable gloves (we'll have some but might not be able to provide everyone with it)
- if you have long and beautiful hair, make sure you have a hairband (in case you forget, we'll try to figure something out)
- in case you have an extra apron, please bring one to keep your clothes clean.
Note that this is not a master class or event for small children. This is a volunteer initiative to support and show care. Of course, this doesn't mean we won't have fun. It will be a fun, exciting and rewarding experience.
